Kiko's victory will do wonders for the popularity of the sweet science in Spain, where boxing has been neglected by the media for the past 10-15 years or so.
Huge thanks to Maravilla Martinez who is supporting and guiding lots of new talents together with established fighters like Campillo and Kiko. For Romero's fight it is the first time than Kiko has a proper 8-week training camp. It was moving to see how Maravilla burst into tears after Kiko's knockout (he was commenting the fight live for Spanish tv and seemed more nervous than when he fights).
Frampton is a tremendous fighter, better than Romero in my view, but it seems he has to wait until someone brings him the title fight to Belfast and just changed promoters. Has he ever been out of Belfast by the way? Would he take a challenge out of N Ireland?
