Froch doesn't fight at 175 or catchweights. If he did he would've taken the £1m ($2m) to fight Cleverly or fought Hopkins at 173.

Froch got dropped by Taylor and was hurt by Reid, Kessler and Dirrell. Difference is he's older now and Kovalev is a prime, strong light heavy who hits harder than all these guys and might be a better finisher.

Froch could wear Kovalev down, but I can't see him getting away with soaking up to much punishment. Kovalev hits to hard for you absorb to much.
