Kovalev, Who nes?

Tight as your butt for Ward I'm sure. If you can't see the problems Kovalev can cause Ward then you aren't being realistic.Comment

That's a definite possibly, Ward is very good at negating his opponents offense.
Having said that, I hope we don't continue to debate this in a years time as we are Manny/Floyd and a few other fights. Kov last night proved he was world class, there can be no more doubts. Fights like Ward/Kov and GGG/Martinez need to happen in the next 12-18 months max.
I can understand both champions have been injured, Martinez more so than Ward but Ward has been away for too long and not making the right noises. He seems to want to fight a limited Junior rather than guys at 175. Please don't let him be another p4p showcase.Comment

2013 has been the year of the knockout artist: Matthysse, Golovkin, Stevenson, now Kovalev. Now obviously Stevenson is the fight we all want to see, but he's probably going to fight Cloud then Bellew (what an undeserving mandatory!) So how about Kovalev takes a stay busy fight then fights the winner of Bute-Pascal? If he beats either of those guys, the fight in Canada with Stevenson I'm sure will be HUGE.Comment

Why is Bellew undeserving? He's done everything to earn a title shot.2013 has been the year of the knockout artist: Matthysse, Golovkin, Stevenson, now Kovalev. Personally I think Stevenson/Kov would be far too one sided, I want to see competitive fights, so Kov v Ward is up there for me, or Kov v Froch. Kov v Hopkins makes a lot of sense too or even a Pascal match up.Comment
