    Kovalev, Who nes?

LOL all joking aside, who will be next??
I don't think Kov fights any legit opponents for the remainder of the year considering Pascal and Cloud are busy. Hopkins has a lot of thinking to do and Dawson is almost done. I think Stevens may be busy with Bellew so where does he go from here?

I think 2014 is a big year for the guy, he will have a lot of opponents and I'm sure if Ward wants a non-Froch fight, this is a great one for him, forget Chavez and a rematch with washed up Dawson.

    It could be Kov's 2014!

it's not just that he hits hard but he is also very accurate and has fast hands. I saw the Campillo fight and didn't think he'd be able to outspeed Clev but he hit so hard and so often he completely negated any game plan Clev may have had.

Kov v Ward if Ward wants a real challenge.

I'd love to see him take that WBA belt from that paper champ Shumenov. But realistically, he's probably gonna fight some lower tier guys on HBO and create demand for a Hopkins showdown.

He made a believer out of me last night. It was as if the very second Cleverly felt his power, that he wanted nothing else to do with the fight entirely.

That said, I think the Kovalev's and GGG's or the world have no chance against Ward.

Shumenov must be handing the WBA some coin every so often to keep that belt. One of the worst hostages of a belt in recent years. HBO is far more interested in the Stevenson matchup for Kovalev than a Hopkins one, and rightly so.

GGG doesn't, he is far too small (but it's the more likely fight) but I think Kov has a great chance. Due to his size he will hit harder than GGG, I think GGG is a more accomplished technician than Kov but Kov has fast hands and a decent defense and I'm curious as to what happens when Ward gets hit with one of those right hand, left hook combinations.

There were a couple of stages in the last 2 - 3 rounds against Froch that Ward was definitely hurt. Now amplify that power by about 3...it's an interesting match up.

But I see Ward forging a path with fights against Junior and a possibly rematch at 175 with Dawson.

Ward isn't invincible. Kovalev is a definite threat.

No doubt if Kovalev can catch him, he can hurt him. Dude hits like a truck.

I feel like he can only win by KO, and if Ward stays in his chest, takes some of that power away, he can win a very ugly decision.
