I STILL think Hopkins could pull it off against Koralev.

Koralev looked like he was gassing .. Cleverly was a C Level fighter at best.. Hopkins even at 49 is still a master and could very well school Koralev for 9 of 12 rounds after shelling for the 1st 3..........
I will like to see this fight.

no, Hopkins should retire. don't want him to take such punches, and i'm dead serious.

He absolutely could. He could land, clinch, land, clinch, land, clinch.

I wouldn't count Hopkins out at all.

Hopkins would take Kovalevs soul. Like he always does to these young guns. No but in all seriousness eventually that punch resistance will be gone FFS hes damn near 50. Late start or not 50 is 50.

Kovalev hits hard enough to take him out would be an interesting fight to say the least but I know better than to bet against Hopkins.

Kovalev doesn't stop throwing punches, and he'll arch his punches to find the target. We got some talented killers in the sport today, I like Hopkins but he doesn't beat Kovalev.

kovalev is no crude slugger. he always controls the range. he got a tiny bit sloppy tonight but that's just because he tested the waters early on and decided it would be easy work

Bad match up for bhop. Kovalev is a murderous puncher with skills to boot. Would love to see it tho.

I'd like Hopkins to win and think he can but with that power Kovalev has anything can happen
