Now I know both sides destroyed the dream match people have wanted to see, but this is just ****ing ridiculous. Anyone with common sense can see this.
Anyway, IDGAF anymore. Anything pertaining to Pac and Floyd is filled with ******ity.
If this doesn't say it all about Bob Arum's intentions on making this fight. I don't know what will.

Arum also indicated he would like Pacquiao to get through the Hatton fight before going up against Mayweather saying“I want Mayweather to stay there (in retirement) until September. The longer he’s out the more rusty he’ll be."

"It's not so much that I give a damn whether this fight happens--I don't-- and for me it's not the greatest experience doing a promotion with Floyd Mayweather," Arum said. "But not to do this fight would slow down the momentum of boxing."

“Bob said, ‘We don’t need Mayweather. We can do a fourth fight,’ ” Roach recalled.
“That’s what he said in the ring.”

Anyway, I just wanted to see these two great boxers fight each other eventually, so please understand my disappointment after reading the article.

I think people on this forum can spot liars like you pretty quick , you are one of the bunch that will just make sht up to back up your own BS , kiddo your a joke LOL .
- "Oscar De La Hoya needs more speed for his bout with Manny Pacquiao, according to trainer Nacho Beristain. De La Hoya is currently training in the Californian mountains ahead of his December 6 date with Pacquiao in Las Vegas, and Beristain, known as 'Nacho', says increasing his man's hand speed is a priority against such a quick hitter as the Filipino. Beristain said: "There are three weeks left until the fight with Manny, and we are looking to work on Oscar's speed. He has reached the peak of his conditioning, so we're going to try and accomplish an increase in his speed. "
- "There has been a lot of talk about the weight difference between the two, Oscar is a very disciplined fighter and his drop in weight will not be a factor." "
- "I feel that Oscar is a better boxer than Pacquiao. Style wise and conditioning wise, I am confident Oscar will beat him. "
- "His weight will be no big deal. I predict maybe a pound and a half will separate Oscar and Manny at most on fight night. Oscar will dictate the fight for the most part."

"He (De La Hoya) is already at 146, an easy 146, and his resting heart rate is 35 beats-per-minute. A marathoner's is usually around 40 or 45."

The fight would have happened in 2009 but Manny didn't want it plain and simple but his fans say that the blood tests "were a road block" but now Manny takes them for Rios? get the F##K outta here with that Bull$#!t! How the hell do you turn down 40Mil when you ain't NEVER made 40 MIL for a fight EVEN as a headliner? The only thing I fault Floyd for is asking for the tests which gave Manny an excuse to back out considering Roach said they would not be an issue and once they accept that Mayweather would be scared. This is all on video and in articles but yet I'm making this up? It's cool if you don't like a certain fighter but to play and be a ****** JACK ASS to defend a fighter is crazy to me.
