permit me to play the devil's.. psychiatrist..here for a moment, but how will these fighters compare to the HWs of the 22nd century. How would the K brothers compare to those 22nd century HWs. Surely by your 'good times syndrome' they would all KO the Klitschkos and Lewis, since the K bros and Lewis ability is coloured by good time syndrome since they are 100 years in their past.

Nah man, anyone who takes a look at Sonny Liston, watches his fights, analyses his performance, looks at his opponents, checks his stats, and closely picks apart his record can only reach the conclusion he is a modern HW lemon.

Of course in a 100 years time the heavies of today will seem less competitive. It's like saying my foot team from the turn of last century could beat todays pro team. It's like saying Jack Dempsey could beat up Klitschko!

Vitali took 10 rounds to KO Adamek because Adamek is a good boxer with a very good record against good opponents. Adamek is roughly equivalent to Ali who beat the crap out of Liston imo! Same size etc, same effectiveness.

Samuel Peter is a very tough boxer who would imo KO Liston quicker than Wladimir would. I think he is Wlad's 2nd best opponent. I think we can forgive Wlad for struggling a bit in the first fight against this guy! Liston never fought anybody as good as Peter.
