So Lucas is an impressionable guy that actually believes fanboy interpretations about "Garcia being scared after the Peterson KO.." This will work against him. On the other hand Garcia does not even entertain forum-rumors etc. Lucas is showing signs of fear in this comment... The fact that he is looking for reassurance from fans and allowing their silly comments to reassure himself, that indeed, Garcia was scared speaks volumes from a psychological perspective. He is taking comfort in convenient reassurances from scrubs...Why? Because it is HE that has doubts and HE that needs to imagine a "scared" Garcia. He loses on the 14th and he is starting to realize this.

If you know anything about Garcia, you will know that the kid loves a challenge and feels no fear. He laughs at the notion that he is afraid.

No doubt. I was disappointed in Lucas' NEED to lie to himself about Danny being afraid at ringside. It shows he is trying to psyche himself up but sadly for Lucia, THAT "scared at ringside" Danny will not be the Danny that shows up.
