Ya, Teddy really seemed to have it in for Fonfara. First it was that he's getting stopped, then it was that he only fights old guys, then it's that he won because Campillo is old and past his best.

While there are grains of truth in what he said, it's as if he was focusing only on the negatives about Fonfara. He could've also praised Fonfara's persistence in the face of adversity, or his ability to grind down a tricky and experienced veteran.

I say that because during the main event he was screaming like a 12 year old girl at a Justin Bieber concert about the way Campillo was dominating the fight. The problem I had with his craziness was I believe it was only the third round of a fight that I thought was close. He was convinced that Campillo would win easily and I am so happy that Fonfara shut him up. But then again after the stoppage Atlas spoke of how old Campillo was and how many loses he has had blah, blah, blah blah. Teddy I wish you would find something else to do for a living because you commentary consistently takes me into bad neighborhoods.
Completely agree, he is VERY biased.

Some find Campillo nice to look at -- because his baroque design of his punches. But Campillo is slow, pillow fisted, has porous defense, and he shows his age.
Fonfara waited until Campillo completely drained his tank and was ready to go down naturally.
I'm glad Campillo did not win this one -- he would have called B-Hop...

(The Chicago baseball stadium venue was great...)

                Fonfara: #3 WBO, #4 IBF, #7 WBC...
                OK...

While WBC and IBF do not rank Kovalev in the top 15...

Campillo is not slow and he had Fonfara hurt as well as Cloud in both their fights so I wouldnt say he is pillow fisted, he is a boxer with a high punch output but not a pure puncher he just got caught with a good punch and Fonfara was the better man tonight. I think it might be the end of the line for Campillo he was easily outboxing Fonfara, his punch resistance just isnt there anymore and at top level its necessary. Ill still support him, he has been screwed in the past and he has a entertaining style, but im not sure what he has left at the elite level.

Fonfara (who's an average fighter) only had to wait for Campillo to crumble eventually...

Got to love both mollo & szpilka... Both fun to watch. The pole has better skills but leaves himself open quite often. A left hooker may end his run. Let's get these guys like szplika, wilder, ruiz & several others fighting each other. These 2 knockouts of mollo are pretty good feats. Mollo went 12 hard rounds golota & mccline. They were older but still neither knocked him out like szpilka. Let's get another szpilka fight in chicago with a mollo/minto or mollo/ maddalone undercard...
