What do you want people to say about the his performance? He fought really well, but he took his foot off the gas pedal in almost each and every rounds even though Trout couldn't consistently hit him with any eye-catching punches. Defensively, he showed good head movement and he wasn't as flat-footed as he was in previous bouts. He fought a good all-around fight, but for a guy his size and punching power, we expected him to looked a bit better.

Trout was robbed (of a fair fight) easily. Those 119-109 scores were atrocious. Canelo had no stamina and failed to throw a single combination that fight. It showed how vulnerable he was, when his opponent isn't a sitting punching bag.

Regardless - I hope Canelo improves all of those areas and gives Floyd a tough fight.

I thought Trout would win but neither looked that great. Trout def looked sloppy in the middle of the ring. He was also very predictable. It was still a nice fight to watch though.

maybe its because of the judge that only gave trout 2 rounds

Why do you keep bringing Floyd up? Trout is also a big 154 fighter and Cotto is a blown up ww. Outside of Cotto Trout hadn't beaten anyone worth mentioning.

Who did you pick to win for the Trout vs Canelo matchup?

I had it a draw. Good win for him I guess, but not impressive at all.

Maybe because trout is good? Unless you are one of those guys who championed Trout and said how good he was before the fight and then as soon as trout lost you started callling him overrated so you could save face?

It was a good win. Trout is a good fighter ..but canelo didn't look very impressive as he did against much smaller and past/shot opponents. It was also a complete joke when ring magazine added him to the top ten p4p list afterwards...Can't wait to see oscars face when Floyd completely exposes canelo for being the media hype job that he is...

Other than that knock down, I saw nothing impressive from Alvarez in that fight.
