Not sure why he went with the Bradley fight then. Pac was offering way more money, presumably easier fight, and I'm sure one of the sanctioning bodies would have been happy to put Absolute Championship at stake for a proper fee

He had to be stripped of the IBO belt? IBO is not even a real belt, do they even charge sanctioning fees?

Plus it looks like he vacated it, since he dropped it after the Cotto fight, nowhere near 12 months after Hatton.

Not that IBO means much, but Pacquiao did hold onto The Ring's LWW belt for ages (over a year?) without a single defense, all the while having catchweight title fights against Cotto and Margarito.

I still can't believe people actually consider Marquez to be a Champion at 140.

                Fair enough, good catch.

Right: JMM won the interim WBO light welterweight title as fighting Serhiy Fedchenko.

That's the weird thing - after all his achievements and what he did last year, why does Marquez even care about some ****** belt at this point in his career? It's not like he's an up-and-comer who needs to be caught up in alphabet soup to get noticed. He's waaaaay above that.

And what is it with him and the WBO? He practically hijacked their LW title for 1.5 years without a defence, and now he's doing the same with their LWW title. Hell, if he beats Bradley, he'll probably keep their WW title on ice and move up to fight the winner of Mayweather-Alvarez.
