    Ward Aging Like Fine Fish?

Look, I like Andre (more than most do, I think). And I know that 1) he basically wiped out his division, 2) there have been injuries, and 3) he's been locked in a contractual dispute, but ...

If you had to guess, when will we next see Andre Ward in the ring again? This year?

All this talk about ward being the real pound for pound best has gotten him thinking, why do I make $1,000,000, $2,000,000 for a fight while the other guy (Floyd) is making $40,000,000 a fight.

Ward will fight again this year. He was on Fighthype radio on Wednesday, he is fully fit and ready to go. There is an issue with opponent choice.

Generally speaking Ward sounds very pi$$ed off and glum these days. I think all the criticism of his style has gotten to him.

It's crazy to think Ward is heading toward 30 years of age.

I wonder how long he will be fighting despite being realtively new on the scene.

It has to be a big time opponent you'd imagine simply because of how Ward's perceived (bit dull) how many people would tune in to see him fight a contender?

He is bound to be pissed off but there are plenty more engaging/exciting fighters at his weight even if they're not as good as him.

I hope he comes out like an animal, like his last fight, and really shows his skill.
If his injuries affect him I swear I will go into a depression lol

Boxingscene....ward wipes out a division (division!!!), little or no love....

Margarito caught cheating, never really did anything but be a glorified punching bag, gets a new praise thread daily.

Ward hasn't taken much punishment in his career and apart from Froch and Kessler has a pretty relaxed run at 168 so he'll be fine, as long as his injuries don't leave him debilitated long term.

If the wanabe p4p great thinks he deserves a massive payday, there is no bigger payday at 168 than Froch but it looks like Froch 2 will have to wait till next year.

Other than that, who is there at 168? A Junior fight? Moving up to 175 and possibly fighting Pascal or Hopkins? Then again Pascal is busy and Hopkins doesn't seem too eager for that match up. Ward is in a tough situation right now and is frustrated by lack of action.

Ward will be fine, he's just got problems right now outside the ring
give him a tuneup once he's back, then he'll be kicking ass again
nothing at 168 but rematches with guys he's already owned
he can take over 175 if he decides to jump up in weight
there's nobody there who can beat him, he'd whip Stevenson
would love to see him punk Dawson again to stop the excuses
