Naw. I just like to f**k with Cotto fans. I like Cotto fans though, you guys are usually 100% on point on everything aside from one thing, haha.
I'm just f**king with you homie. You know how it is when you and I talk on here my dude.Comment

Anyways, I can't see Lucas ever getting "big". He's just not known enough. Seriously maybe 1 out of 500 people would know who he is.
If he was from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Philippines, or something like that, he'd be so much more known.Comment

Would know or do know? He's fighting on a pretty big stage in September, a knockout victory would go a long way to notoriety (not that he cares).
What works in favour of Matthysse is that he's chopping down a lot of American fighters...Corley, Judah, Alexander, Dallas Jr., Peterson, Garcia (?) so they're forced to sit up and take notice.Comment

Matthysse makes it big if he beats Garcia, and then goes on to beat Floyd. The first to beat FMJ becomes an overnight sensation.
Let's say that he beats Garcia and doesn't get the Floyd fight immediately. He's still in a good position due to the quality of opposition around him and the fact that he's aligned with Haymon.Last edited by kiaba360; 08-17-2013, 12:55 AM.Comment

I think he can beat Mayweather if his power carries up, but there's no way of telling if it does. Freddie Roach gave an interview earlier stating it's rare that a fighter's power carries up into a higher weight class (discussing Rios).
Still, he has to beat Garcia first and DG is a more than live dog.Comment

Yeah I might favor Cotto a little
We don't always agree, but it's nice to talk to someone who knows their shit on here, as very few do.
One day we'll agree on something though, it has happen eventually.

Right now, maybe that many would know who he is. But you're right, he has a golden opportunity to make a huge statement on this PPV, especially if he KO's Danny.Would know or do know? Both are the best 140 fighters on the planet right now, I'm hyped for it. The winner should definitely be in the running to fight Mayweather, along with Bradley if he beats Marquez and manages to get free from Arum.Comment
