Mayweather will go up to number 1 if he beats Canelo, if Canelo wins, Pac/Canelo fight... Best of both worlds will be the title of the fight.
Pac number 1He was brutally kayoed by Marquez in their fourth fight and pretty much outboxed in their 3rd meeting. He also looked less than great against Tim Bradley. I don't think you can make any kind of logical argument for him as the number 1 fighter in the world. It would be very hard to even put him in the top 5

        By outpunching and outworking Marquez?

You dont love the sport of boxing if you cant appreciate the body of work Pacman has done through his career.. Pac is a legend 1st ballot HOF without a doubt..

Pac and Floyd both best of this generation, Floyd just knew how to market himself better and stray away from any opponent that would cause bodily injury down the road, and NO I dont under estimate Floyds craft..

That all well and good , but to step over the made to order element of Mannys biggest wins is fanboyism , take Mannys WW fights out of the equation and what do you have , an elite fighter having battles with 3 other elite fighters , add Mannys WW CW fights and then add the erroneous special condition surrounding those fights and you got a fabricated ending .

            Enjoy your hero guys .

Pac has it in the bag, he is rated just fine. People just don't think he is superman right now after his loss to JMM.
His superman outfit is in the closet, but he may be ready to reprise his role.

The guy's an bona fide ATG and his achievements are pretty impressive.
Not to mention he beat up fighters Floyd beat.. but did it in more impressive fashion.

Manny beat Hatton,Cotto,Mosley, and De La Hoya in a more impressive fashion than Floyd did..(yes there is an excuse for every single one of those victories.. but that's besides the point now) At least he fought Margarito(despite it being a shop worn version) something that I wished Floyd did.

I will still favor Floyd to beat Manny(any version vs any version) but Pacquaio's ATG status can not be denied and a serious case can be made that his rankings is very close if not slightly higher than Floyd's.
What you said about Margarito is hilarious. The only way Pac's name can ever be mentioned along with Floyd's name is if he's ktfo by Canelo.

Uhhhh, it didn't take a "hater" to see that Manny couldnt cut the ring off against what Manny fans called Shane prior to him fighting Floyd, "Grandpa Mosley". I thought that was terrible as I watched the fight.

But I'm sure you missed that part.

Even with the loss to Marquez, Pacquiao is still rated higher than Mayweather on the all time list. What does that tell you?

No he's not. These fairweather fake fans that won't even be closely following boxing when they finally get laid or get a life outside the internet don't count. Pacquiao is one of the greatest fighters ever. Period. Like Hagler, Hearns, SRL and Duran, Pacquiao has met and conquered some of the best fighters of his or any era. Already a true ATG.
