      What?

Do you think it's a good tactic
Then it's no excuses. I'd come in at 154, and ask GBP's to pay the fine.

It could be worth it......if you knew coming in over 152 would guarantee you the win. What if you lose and Mayweather refuses to grant a rematch? You just paid millions, possibly lost your entire purse, may even have to owe money, you lose your title and no rematch.

That's an awfully large consortium of risks to throw on your shoulders.

Let's take things a step further.

I know Floyd comes in around 151 or so, but let's say Floyd came in at 154 while Canelo comes in at 152

Does the fight get cancelled or did Floyd simply outsmart Canelo before the fight evened happened

So it has nothing to do with putting him in his place after the ultimatum thing?

It has nothing to do with him weighing in at light heavy for 154 pound fights?

Keep telling yourself that. According 2 you mere months ago Canelo was a bum.

He'll lose a ton of money, they'll probably place some rehydration stipulation, and you don't know how much I'm hoping Alvarez does this.

Now that would be the ultimate mind fucc. Canelos whole camp from Oscar on down would be staring at the scale in shock.

Did you hope Cotto stepped on the scales at 147 or that Martinez stepped on the scales at 160 for his Williams fight?

Why would I? Neither Pac or Williams spent years ripping on catchweights only to make a fight with one. Mayweather said **** the catchweight with Marquez, I hope Alvarez does the same.

pretty sure he gets stripped, fined, and can't win the title even if he wins
but the weight is irrelevant here, he can't beat Floyd regardless
it's not worth the money for him to blow off the catchweight
he agreed, so he better own up to it
