Can any current or future fighters do anything at all to be considered GOAT

What would it take for any other fighter besides Robinson, Ali, etc to be universally regarded as the best ever?

Absolutely nothing. Floyd had his chance with Pacquiao, and even then, you couldn't call him GOAT.

Its a product of this generation. There aren't enough truly great fighters to stack on your resume.

There really arent alot of great or even really good fighters these days, and the few that there are dont really fight each other very often. I think these days too much politics, ducking and dodging going on for that to happen, and fighters just dont fight very often either.

Hopefully in the not too distant future things change though.

No, today's top fighters don't fight often enough and don't take the big challenges.

If you are fighting 1-2 times a year, every fight should be a top level fight.

Also today fighters are so scared of losing which means they are reluctant to take challenges, SRR fought for the 175lb title and lost but his resume still improves just for trying something so ludicrous and coming close to winning.

Of course the fans don't help either, why take a risky fight when if you lose you get called bum, hype job, glass jawed fraud.

So much easier to pad your record, take 11 months of the year off and protect that 0

No becuz the talent gets worse and worse every generation...

The fab 4 era was the best era ever IMO

So whoever was considered the best of that era should at least have consideration

How about being, the best ever? That would be a start.
