You must have missed the part where I stated "in their prime". Andy is a young kid who should be fit and trim if he is serious about his boxing career. Unlike George, he has not earned the right to come in looking like a whale in boxing trunks.

How have YOU earned the right to tell someone that's out there putting in work how to do their job? Obviously he just earned the right to come in as fat as he wants by knocking that "prospect" Hank the **** out.

Yeah, you just pretty much put on display how incredibly ****** you are. No trainer would encourage their fighter to go into fights with blobs of fat. It takes away from your stamina, energy & speed. It doesn't matter if one is ripped or not just so long as they are in proper shape but of course you knew this right?

Just think how quickly a 16 year old Tyson would have dispatched of most of Ruiz's opponents so far.

Andy Ruiz is the truth. Seeing him spar Holyfield shows you the guy's pedigree as a pugilist. The sport is about beating your opponent in a boxing match, nothing else. All the training goes towards that, not looking good. Would you prefer this guy was another Canelo who was fed easy opposition just because he was good looking and easily marketable? Gimme a break, you guys are just looking for things to b**** about at this point.

As far as skillset, technique & base fundamentals are concerned, i don't think it can be any question that Ruiz is superior to Wilder in those departments. But the type of power that Wilder has is the great equalizer in boxing. Power like that can help cancel out alot of flaws.

And i'm trying to figure out why a victory over Joe Hanks is more "impressive" or considered a win of better quality than Wilder beating Liakhovich or Kelvin Price?

Liakhovich is a former world rated contender & trinket holder, who even recently had relatively competitive fights with world rated Heavyweights.

And Kelvin Price at least has a win over Tor Hamer, which is better than any of the faceless journeymen on Joe Hanks resume.

Wilder has actually defeated the better op.

Also, does anybody honestly believe that Ruiz's skillset & attributes match up more favorably with THE throneholder in the division than Wilder's? And that he has a better shot at eventually beating Wlad than Wilder? Which is the ultimate goal isn't it? To de-throne THE champ. Ruiz has a snowballs chance in hell of EVER outboxing Wlad. While Wilder could very well walk right thru Wlad in less than a handful of rounds. Which is why he's the more promising prospect. And will probably have Wlad contemplating retirement if he were to ever become a mandatory.

Ruiz is beyond chunky/pudgy but has good skills & punch, but a quite short reach 4 a HW...he's never been pushed enuf 2 c his stamina but the xtra pounds may b his downfall...I like Wilder better, the great punch, his ability 2 learn, & from the last bout listening 2 what his corner wanted him 2 do...

Ruiz is only 23 though. Wlad is 37, Wilder coming 28 it's likely Klitschko will have retired by the time Ruiz gets "up there".

I wouldn't count on Wilder walking through Wlad in less than a handful of rounds, they have already sparred and Deontay was dropped.

I just watched a little of Ruiz on You Tube. My opinion, he is a disgusting fat pig with boxing skills against pretty average opponents. Hell, him and Solis can match up and have a sumo wrestling contest. Someone also stated that Foreman likes him because he was in the same kind of shape in his second career. I disagree, because I say Ruiz makes the older Foreman look like a Mr. America contestant.

Andy Ruiz is a miracle to me. Hes obese, i mean totally fat but he moves and fights like a guy that is in shape. But hes so overweight that he would weigh 200 or less when hes really in shape. But that kid still got power, speed and can move better than some other heavyweights who are in shape. This guy is a miracle.
