I would, low price for a main even I wouldn't mind paying for.
Also the cards should be alright... if not, main even makes up for the price

no, because Rigo vs anyone doesn't guarantee excitement
the guy isn't worth any extra money as of yet
when he produces some action, things might change
on paper, those are all good fights, but Rigo has to carry his end
he's not reliable in that context, so don't pay to watch him

This should be HBO / Showtime. The sport isn't going to attract more fans if you gotta pay $9.95 for a fight that doesn't deserve a PPV tag to it. Jesus Christ, just 16 years ago I saw Roy Jones on the USA Network, but I'm gonna pay $10 to see Rigo (who I respect) fight Mares?

I think the TS just want it to counter another similar thread but for $49.99 or something like that, and the point is if HBO doesn't want 2 show GR I know some fans will pay 10 dollars to see him against Mares, I know I would, you bring Rigondeaux-Mares, Nonito-St Cruz, Lara-Trout and Collado or another Cuban up and coming like Perez, Ortiz etc,,, to South Miami and not only a lots of ppl will buy but the place will be packed 2.

Have you ever watched any Rigo fight outside of the Donaire fight--where he actually had to chase Nonito around the ring at times. Rigo is a hard hitter, Donaire is the only opponent not be be knocked down by Rigo.

You want boring, go watch Mayweather v. Baldomir/Guerrero or Andre Ward v. Allan Green.

Bob Arum has been charging $29.99 PPV for little known latin boxers for years and years now. Rigo vs. Mares is easily worth $19.99 PPV in my opinion, not just $9.99

I'd pay to see him fight Mares. I wouldn't if it was anyone else though.
