People forget that Donaire himself is not PPV material, let alone Rigo.

Donaire's natural style is focused on defense. It's only in his last three to four fights that he was taking risks and focusing on offense to attract fans. If he sticks to his natural style and paired with an opponent with the same style, the fight would be booed three times over. He paid the price for taking risk in his last fight. Nobody else will.

Yeah it's funny I like Rigo a lot but I think Mares is the bigger threat to him, Nonito is a beast but doesn't apply affective pressure.

Rigo doesn't seem to be liked much because of his disciplined styled of boxing. He's not a showman type of boxer. He's a pure boxer. Not as exciting as guys that battle.

I think Nonito learned some things from their 1st fight that could give him an advantage and make him more effective. As much as I like Mares, (a lot), dunno how his style would be against Rigo. Would be dam good fight, that's for sure! I wouldn't count him out, but Rigo is sooo disciplined...scary disciplined.

Not to see a Donaire rematch but Mares needs more respect. Most underrated fighter in the sport. P4P resume amd gets no love.
