David Haye fighting men 30-100 pounds heavier his entire HW Career. Underrated.

Haye is certainly underated, he was a good CW and at least an OK CW champion.

Hes was a weak HW beltholder, posing as the HW champion, and couopled with having a media friendly face, was why he was overrated by the media as the next force in HW boxing. Hes a Herbie Hide who went the other way, from CW to HW (although he is better than Hide). It was always going to end in tears.

If he'd stayed at CW and worked on his innate talent and kept defending 20 times he might have gone down as a CW legend for posterity (rather than a marginal great that he can be argued to be now). Was he capable of this, maybe, we wont know now, perhaps not though.

Still, one of the few CWs to take a legit HW title. good going even if it was thinly spread.

The funny thing is David Haye is by far Wladimir's best win.

Is that a joke? Wlad used to have an amazing jab but lately and including the Haye fight, he used it as a pawing measuring stick. He hardly landed a strong jab on him the entire night.

And that is one of the many minor details Wladimir is inferior to Lennox in which true boxing fans will catch.

Wladimir's jab is used as a measuring stick the vast majority of the time... so was Lennox's.. The difference is that Lewis will mount his offense often times right after a jab.. Combinations(during his prime), right hands, right crosses, hooks, body shots...

Wladimir will simply back off and use his superior foot work to set up another jab.. Wladimir is incapable of mounting an aggressive offense and with age rapidly catching up to him.. it's only a matter of time before his 4th defeat.

I noticed that Wlad has been leaving himself more and more exposed and was caught by both Wach(towards the end of the middle rounds I think) and by Pineata..... luckily for Wladimir..Wach was a walking moron and Pineta was pure feather fisted...

if Wilder ever catches Wlad with the shots Pineta caught Wlad with.. Wlad is gone.

No. Byrd is a better win. Povetkin might be too.

Byrd, maybe due to the timing of the fight and that fight was what made people talk about Wlad as the future of the HW division.

                Povetkin, hell no.

There is nothing wrong with Wlad's jab. He chooses when and how to use it. It's one of the best jabs in HW ever - surpasses Lennox's excellent jab.

Wlad chose to be more aggressive against Wach and Pianeta. He fought Pianetta with his guard down. Listen to Haye and his assessment of Wlad's performance that fight.

I know you are hoping someone somehow will be able to catch Wlad, but that's not happening unfortunately for you. Deal with it

                    Byrd, surely.

H2H povetkin/haye is a very close call IMO.

Anybody who talks so much crap the whole entire pre fight screaming hes going to win by KO and then literally does nothing the whole entire fight then blames his toe is not underrated but a joke.

Valuev was terrible and so was Ruiz which are his best wins. Him vs Wlad was the most overhyped overrated fight of all time so how does this make him underrated?

Like Ali and Tyson were never fighting guys twice their size.
