  • Did Floyd win your respect in round 2 against Mosley

Did he prove he was not all flash to those who didnt already know this?did he show his grit and toughness?

He did that against Castillo in the first fight. Floyd is a lot of things, but soft isn't one of them.

You dont fight at the top level, even though he may not have always fought in wars and not be tough. Hes mentally strong. He just questions himself a lot outside the ring, but inside it, he's as tough as anyone....he just thinks at the same time

Floyd or Manny had no buisness in the ring with washed out old Mosley. Mosley was only good for 5-6 rounds...so no he gets no credit or respect. He should have stopped him.

        Manny on the other hand....

Nah. But he earned my respect in virtually the same situation against Corley. Even when Mosley had him hurt I knew there was no possible way Shane was going to get him out of there. None.. Because of what happened against Corley and Judah.

He's always had my respect as a top-class boxer. What I saw in that round was an extra defensive quality I'd never seen him need before.

Not until Floyd fights on too long and loses by taking a bad beating will he get universal respect. Sad but true.

By staying up and fighting back. Those punches could have knocked out a horse.
