Let's look at one of Solis' recent outing:

He went life and death with the out of shape and technically deficient Leif Larsen. Really? If he struggles with a taller and bigger opponent who's out-of-shape and lacks in the skill department how would he fare against a tall strong athletic and power fighter like Wilder?
I think that will depend on how seriously Solis takes this fight. And he ought to take it very seriously indeed, if he wants to keep his head on his shoulders.

It would be good too into that if would show what Solis is made off.

ATM, he is seen as a possibly great fighter, who can still achieve great things. A Solis-Wilder fight would set the record straight once and for all.

So it seems Arreola is the front runner for Wilder..

Solis although fat and crowned hot dog eating champ according to most, imo would still make easy work of Wilder and *******.

But it sounds too good to be true, because as long as that rat Oner is running Solis' career he's not going to get any fights. Oner might be the most unlikable promoter next to Gary Shaw. The way he conducts himself before and after fights, the way he looks, the comments he makes. You probably have to wash your hands, after you shake his.

Just go watch the Klitschko-Solis post fight, and you'll see Oner behaving like an raving idiot, rather than a professional.
Solis is the one who has been pricing himself out of some fights. Oner is a crook, but he admits to a lot, which is more than can be said of most promoters.

I think you're right. It all sounds good in theory, but Solis will probably never live up to his potential. The guy's a waste.

No way Wilder will take this fight when he steps up it will be for a decent pay day, not someone as dangerous as Solis that doesn't bring the money.

still, dude's a glob of fat and doesn't seem to take anything seriously.
At least with this, Wilder will have an opponent who challenged for a world title and won a Gold Medal.
