so his real resume of best wins was Tony Tucker, Pinklon Thomas, Tony Tubbs, Frank Bruno, Trevor Berbick & 'Bonecrusher' Smith; some pretty solid championship level fighters, but even the best of them had 'issues'.

Wlad's best are probably: David Haye, Ruslan Chagaev, Lamon Brewster, Sultan Ibragimov, Chris Byrd, & Tony Thompson.

Tyson had the much better 1st part to his career, but unlike Wlad never avenged any of his losses, whereas Wlad avenged 2 out of 3 & has had the greater longevity.

I'd be putting them about equal in the all-time list.
Only lose Wlad avenged was against Brewster,His brother avenged the other 2

Wlad, without a question. Longevity, better wins, dominating the division. Tyson never reached his potential.

I'm gonna pick out just ONE of those guys that i named on tysons resume (that puts him leaps and bounds above wlad) since you say they aren't better wins.

          tony tucker

one of wlads best wins is tony thompson.

how is tony thompson better then tony tucker? tony thompson always comes into the ring fat and out of shape.

matter fact which one of these guys, David Haye, Ruslan Chagaev, Lamon Brewster (who ko'd him before wlad fought him a 2nd time when he was shot) Sultan Ibragimov, Chris Byrd, Tony Thompson. are better then tony tucker?

not a single one of these guys were better then tony tucker. you guys don't know who tony tucker was (or the others i mentioned) thats why you say such silly things like "the resumes are close" or "how does these guys make tyson head and shoulders above wlad" I'm gonna show you how right now.........

tony tucker has wins over Jimmy Young, buster Douglas, Oliver McCall (actually after he beat McCall McCall then went on to ko lewis) a faded old tony tucker went the distance with a prime lenox lewis. he also went the distance with a prime tyson.

in the lewis fight he actually gave lewis some problems. lenox had to dig deep to win that fight (and this was a faded tucker) he fought very well in that fight for his age against a prime lewis.

a prime tucker was a 6'6 wrecking machine. what win on wlads resume is better then A prime tucker? and thats only one guy that a mentioned out of the bunch.

you see this is the problem with you guys.........you have no clue about other fighters other then wlad and vitali...................tysons resume is leaps and bounds over wlads. it's not even close.

tyson beat the lineal champ, won all the belts, ruled the division by himself(no brotherly help), was in an era with in shape contenders(cept tubbs), and destroyed an all time great although slightly past his prime. wlad has never done any of those things.
