I'm glad Nathan has finally managed to get a relatively big fight with Stateside exposure.

He has a great chin and should be able to cruise to a points victory. I'll see the rest of you mofos on that bandwagon in the near future.

Well what am I supposed to say? Ward would obliterate Kovalev and make him look silly? No one is untouchable and i cant say that becauze ithink Kovalev is the man who could finally beat Ward. He's the only person who I think could beat ward in or around his weight, just like I think ward is the only one who could beat Kovalev.

        People have different opinions, bro.

Shumenov is a joke, if you have seen him fight, you would know that.

He won a title by sheer circumstance. He should not be a title holder.

Murat, I have not watched but by his record he hasn't fought anyone either.

They are not world beaters and neither is anyone that Kovalev has beaten.

That being said, I'm not being a hater, but let the man do something special before crowning him heir to the LHW throne. I mean he doesn't even have a title yet.

I will give Kovalev credit. I think he can definitely win, it's a 50-50 fight. Both guys look to be at the peak of their powers.

You can't really take much from the Campillo fight IMO. He had a poor camp in the build-up and only arrived in the US a few days before the fight.

How many fights does Kovalev have? No one starts their career fighting world beaters..... He's just NOW stepping up and starting his résumé and possible reign to the top- just like GGG. Campillo was his first step up, he demolished him.... Then he fought White who was his mandatory and top 20 LHW and did the same. Now he's stepping up once again. And fightig legit top 5 LHW Cleverly, and if he beats him he will continue to step up and start to face guys like Stevenson, ward, Etc possibly...

I'm just calling it how I think I see it- Kovalev is going to run this division by next year IMO and if he beats Cleverly he is exactly on the proper path to be able to do that. It's not as farfetched as you're making it seem.... Like I said he's on the path, he's not there yet- no one just magically gets an incredible résumé and takes out multiple "world beaters" by their 21st fight..

I'm not declaring him the heir to the throne based on what he's done thus far- I'm predictin he WILL be the heir to the throne as you say, based on the potential I see that he has.

Opinions are great, and I recognize that. The issue is that you have went off the deep end very, very early. The Clev fight is no cake walk.

Lets talk after that fight and see where the guy is at.

I am impressed by what I have seen but he has to prove he can do that against better opposition before I go nuts saying he even has an outside chance against a guy like Ward.

                    Good luck, okay.

I answered this in my last post. Good luck, I think it would be great for those things to happen but wouldn't make that bold of a call just yet.
