  • mab has a good chance of beating chavez. he's the more skillful and ring-smarter between the two. but chavez has edge in size and power department. it's gonna be a tough fight for marco. i hope marco wins and earns a big purse for pac-mab 2. i say pac beats mab again.

That MAB is indeed, buddy. But the past months saw a series of set-backs for several great ones. It seems to be a season for the underdog in most parts. Here at Boxing Scene, experts are getting frequently embarassed: Hopkins, Zab, Morales, etc., etc. Not their fault. They took picks in the fashion that experts do: reasonable expectations. But then, reason often fails to factor the unquantifiables. That's where the difference lay and that's how the results came about.

As for your hope for a MAB-PAC II, I share only the glimmer. The more time passes, the lesser are the chances. The best bet is that, if MAB wins over Chavez, he lures Pac to the heavier weight, thinking he'd have improved chances, as Pac shall then be fighting two weight classes above his ideal. Moreover, the possibility of Morales-MAB IV increases as Morales can be made to think that Lightweight is where he belongs (and perhaps, he's right).

Pacquiao was minding his business concentrating on Pac-EM 2 when Barrera’s camp suddently came out with these macho pronouncements challenging the winner. Barrera was the one making all the noise here, not anyone else. Remember he said something to the effect that he’s ready and willing to avenge his humiliating drubbing “but only on condition that Manny wins…” LOL!

They knew that March 25th was impossible anyway. That's too much too soon a date for either Morales or Pacquiao to prepare. So why pose ****** conditions and give a bogus date that they understood all along wasn’t doable? And why wait for the aftermath of PAC=EM 2 to announce that they were finally going after Chavez? The timing just speak volumes of their sincerity, or lack thereof.

Perhaps they were expecting a Morales win? I’m not that harsh, but my point is that Barrera and his team should’ve just kept their big mouths shut in the first place about Pacquiao or made their real plans known a lot sooner, if they really weren’t serious about going after Pac next.

Damn, you're a genius jose rizal!!!!

        Now tell that to GQ!!!!!

Good insights buddy. Damn, i like reading your posts. You may call me now a grayfistnuthugger!!!!

I still think that chavez will give MAB a problem in the lighweight division and if MAB lose this one which I pray he will, he has nowhere to go but to fight pac at 130 for a fight that will make him at least 1 million dollar richer. Then he can finally say, " It was really me! " lol!!!

Pal! Nuthugger?!?!?! I won't even think it!

LOL!!! You're really aching for a Pac-MAB II, eh?

So am I, buddy! I'm just not as confident of one happening this year or half of next. Oh, well, I could be wrong. So, what's new about my being wrong, eh?

Good to bump into you here, pal! Thanks!

go buy your fake id, ******.

anyhow, you all know that Barrera isn't ducking pac. but keep staying delusional. that's fine. if you believe that, then you also believe pac would knock out mayweather, prime tyson, prime ali, **** everyone, Pac is ****ing God and everyone fears him.

Get real. Bandwagon jumping ****suckers. As soon as pac loses to someone, it'll be "oh man, Pac ******" for most of you. The crazy ass fans will have whatever bull**** excuse Pac says along with about 50 of their own. It was the EA curse cause Pac was on the Pinoy Fight Night, or Raheem ran, or Pac moved up too much in weight, or Pac didn't get his daily 500 *******s from BS members.

Let me give you a food for thought... Pls contemplate on this.

What does the term "3 years" make you remember?

Add the word Barrera and you will have the sum of all mysteries ending with "*****".

                  • Who else can Pac fight? Seems most of the money is with the mexicans: Morales & Barrera...and maybe Marquez.

But who else is out there to bring in the money for Pac? I dont really see anyone...maybe Rocky Juarez, he's a big draw in Tex. Zaheer has no fan base and is very boring, will not bring in the money Pac deserves. Ummmm...Does he move up to 135lb? I dont see that happening.

Its just the mexicans that can bring in the money for Pac because he brings the fillipinos money. That suxs.

Which is what I've been sayin' the whole time. There have been other Asian fighters before Pac who I think were more talented and much more skilled than Manny, but never got the opportunity. ALL BECAUSE OF DEMOGRAPHICS. obviously the promoters are all about numbers. Just ask yourselves this if you could have a B-list Mexi**** fighter to overhype and a B-list Asian fighter to overhype and make 'em sound better than they really are who would y'all choose, considering Hi****ants are the largest minority group.
