I've actually been keeping up with Floyd's training camp and he's just as ****y as ever. Of course he's turned down his bravado, but that's the "new mature Floyd". This is actually the happiest I've seen him in years and he looks to be enjoying life, but in training camp he hasn't lost a single step. I think you're banking way too heavy on Father Time as opposed to what Canelo can actually do against a guy like Floyd.

Exactly...it's never Floyd vs what the opponent brings to the table besides size now a days...the hope Father time wins. Not knowing that they're complimenting Floyd.

That's what I'm worried about, Canelo overthinking the fight and trying to outbox the boxer, and outthink the grandmaster. He needs to be aggressive.

• no lateral movements

Mayweather would easily beat him a la Gatti perhaps. The only way I can see Canelo winning this fight is via puncher's chance if he gets aggressive and pinning down Mayweather in a corner or on the ropes and catch him off-guard with the left hook.

But that is reaching. So a long shot for Canelo, and only if Mayweather tires and go toe-to-toe with him.

But I am rooting for Canelo to beat the crap out of Mayweather.
