Only time will tell but I believe that Floyd will take control of the fight and be able to stop Canelo who will be running out of gas in the later rounds. I just hope people will give Floyd credit if he wins this fight but I have a feeling they won't. The same people who pick Canelo to win will come back after the fight with some lame excuses.

This is a great match-up for Floyd and I think he's going to look really good. Floyd is not unbeatable but Canelo is not the one to do it. There are other fighters I see that would be much more difficult for Floyd.

To anyone who is putting Floyd against father time, please take a moment to step aside... politely slap your face two times and return peacefully back to reality. He is 36 not 46! and he has enough ring IQ to cope with anything a young Canelo can throw at him. Don't get me wrong, Canelo will come prepared as anything to fight Mayweather, and believe me in the little time he gets to rehydrate himself he has "right" people around him to make that happen. He won't be drained, and if he puts Floyd under relentless pressure and uses the Ortiz tactic of bullying Floyd he may just end his career, however Floyd is a legend and will do his research.

I don't think Mayweather fighting Canelo is a cherrypick at all. I respect Mayweather's choice to fight such a dangerous opponent. I don't like the catchweight part though. As the WBA 154 pound superchamp Floyd should be defending his title at 154 pounds.

People forget Canelo will be about 160 in the ring if not more.
