But that's how Hip Hop goes. They were all better in their younger days. History just proves this. Look at Jay-Z,Nas and EM and compare their earlier work to their work of recent. I'm not saying Lupe is a better "artist" then them but when it comes to lyrics at its purest form then he is better then EM and Jay-Z. I don't think he blows them out the water but he is better then them imo.

I wasn't feeling Watch the Throne or Magna Carta at all.

Jay's last two albums that were decent or good were American Gangster (I like this one) and Blueprint 3 had some good records.
