Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Adds Cunningham To His Sparring Roster

Philadelphia's Steve "USS" Cunningham, 25-6 (12), is helping former foe Tyson Fury, 21-0 (15), prepare for his September 28th meeting with former WBA heavyweight titlist David Haye at the Manchester Arena, which will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office here in the U.K. Cunningham was stopped in seven rounds by Fury at Madison Square Garden's Theater venue in April but will now help the 25-year-old contender prepare for his biggest test to date.

Good choice of sparring for Fury. Little surprised Cunningham is helping him after the fight antics!

WTF moments are becoming common with Team Fury and I like it.

Good move by both parties. Cunningham gets paid & can stay in shape. Maybe he can stay sharp & get another fight at CW or HW. Fury benefits with a solid sparring partner with speed & who is similar in stature. Cunningham should fight eddie chambers at CW or HW. I'd prefer at HW...

Kind of a waste really... Cunningham moves well, but he's a completely different fighter than Haye. Ignore the power aspect, Cunningham's game is all about using the jab. David Haye doesn't use a jab, his game is to jump in a throw a hook.

He's preparing for one style by bringing in a completely different style.

Didn't Fury say that he was going to knock Cunningham out and then hire him as his sparring partner?

                    Came to fruition
