As much as I like Mathysse and I know he's gonna destroy Mr. Garcia's little boy I don't want him to fight Mayweather, Floyd will dance circles around him all night and make him look foolish like he did Ghost, Mathysse will just chase him trying to land that one punch that will never land. Mayweather is just too fast for him.

The problem with Floyd is that its next to impossible to hit him flush consistantly and even harder than that to hit him with more than one punch at a time. Of the foreseeable options, the Matthysse-Garcia winner should get Mayweather next. Obviously he's not fighting Pac, and there's no guarantee Pac will look good enough against Rios to rebuild interest anyways. Unless the Alvarez fight is close enough for a rematch, or there's a robbery, Mayweather should fight Matthysse or Garcia.

No disrespect, but I don't think you honestly believe that Lucas can beat Floyd. You may be rooting for him, but I find it hard to believe that you believe Lucas will be the one to get the job done. I for one gotta see it to believe it.

Khan fights Mayweather next. It a brief tune up that brings a lot of money. Lucas and Danny not bringing that type of bread, the winner will be on the undercard tho. Then after that if they're still winning, they fight. Its about the most promotion for the money. Why build this star just to immediately chop them down? Get some ROI first.

Cotto pressured Floyd and lost 8 or 9 rounds doing so. Cotto is technically superior to Matthysse. Plus, he's a helluva lot bigger and stronger. Very doubtful that Lucas will be able to bully Floyd into the ropes like Cotto was able to. And doubt he has the handspeed to land with any kinda regularity.
