All roads lead to Rigo at 122.
I don't think they should take Rigo off TV though, have him fight Avalos on FNF and then go overseas to fight Quigg.

Rigo is hands down the pound for pound king.
He did to Donaire what Floyd did to ghost...embarrassed him.
Donaire needs to get on some PED's and avenge his embarrassing loss.

      REMATCH RIGO VS DONAIRE NOW!!!!!

It's a shame that such a great talent in the sport may go to waste due to business and politics. I understand that being marketable is a huge factor in professional Boxing, but its still sad to see nonetheless.

Rigondeaux isn't getting any younger either, I know hes unbelievably skilled and barely gets hit which may prolong his career but hes still 32 (almost 33), he can't fight forever.

However if he was to learn to speak English and started acting like a **** then I'm sure he would sell a lot better and more networks and fans would develop a greater interest in him (not saying he should have to, I appreciate his skills).

You might take issue with the word "destroyed" in the context of the fight itself, but I think any honest observer who saw what Rigondeaux did to Donaire would have to conclude that Rigondeaux certainly destroyed any notion that Donaire is a legitimate pound-for-pound contender. He's nowhere close.

Either way, I'm really happy HBO & Showtime are slowly releasing these fighters who are not entertaining!
Yes. I can't wait until they start broadcasting bar fights. Nothing more entertaining than watching two drunk guys beat each other to a bloody pulp.

Sarcasm aside, when you have "fans" admitting that a fighter outclassed an opponent who was being heralded as one of boxing's best and suggest that it's a good thing they he isn't given a stage on which to showcase his superior skills, it says a lot about the state of boxing today.

No way would Arum let a rematch happen, its obvious hes going to try and rebuild Donaire and hope the Rigo loss gets quietly swept under the rug, Bob wont let a repeat of what happened take place.

A sad thing... HBO invested so much in Mayweather, who has a same fighting style as Rigondeaux but yet is isn't crowd pleasing.

Rigondeaux has shown great skill, yet currently is being downplayed for it. Boxing is a science not just two thugs/brutes going at it, and Rigondeaux is one of the few out there with a Doctorate!

Pathetic move by HBO and By Arum who completely disrespected his fighter! Go to GoldenBoy Rigo!

Oh well whats new? i told everyone watch Rigo beat Donaire and be punished the same thing i said about Lara beating Perro that it wouldn't yield him the same opportunities it would yield Perro, one may say is some ugly bias thing thats behind it but its way more simple then than. There is a difference between fake threatening fighters and real threats that can beat anyone the former dont get put in with precious cash cow investments often .

Rigos team needs to wake up.
Pro boxing is an entertaining sport.
He has great tools and iq , but he is boring and bad for buisness
And entertainment. HBO will not pay for another 122 lb fight with rigo in it.
, soon rigos team will get desperate and donwhat hbo wants them to do which is say ( webwill fight anyone at 126 and 130 ). To get on tv and make money..

                    Bet on it

So maybe Rigo needs to act like a jurr-cough the way Bonehead does. Sad state in boxing, when big mouthed Arum would dismiss his own fighter, on camera, and do all he can to stall his career, and actually get away with it. Any true fan of boxing will like Rigo's true talent. Anybody else needs to go watch tough man competitions.
