3 fights with a lot of controversy, a 4th one with a brutal KO, it's over. If Manny had knocked out Marquez in the 3rd or 4th fight I would've said the same, the Marquez - Pacquiao saga is over.

Unfortunately for Pacquiao Marquez was the one who landed the monster shot and ended the saga. I'm 100% sure that if Pac had beaten Marquez Roach would've been saying "We destroyed him, no reason to fight him again"

People forget that JMM is six years older than Pac. Why do you think Pac has waited so long to rematch him every time they fought? In the last fight, JMM looked like an aging fighter. He looked slower. He fought at a more measured pace than normal. And yeah, it worked out in his favor. But, I don't think JMM could honestly say he fought more measured because he knew the KO would eventually come. He hadn't as much as knocked Pac down in the first three fights. I'm not saying Pac would dominate him. But I am saying I'd pick Pac to win because he looked fresher and more able to fight at a high level over the long haul of the fight where JMM fought more in spots.
