Even if it only does 150k to 200k buys, it still establishes Maidana as a growing draw in boxing, by way of being a foil boogeyman. Risky but smart move by golden boy. They know they have a gold mine in the 147 beast that's all action and entertainment, Maidana!Comment

Hell no. If this was in February or March I would but in November? My dude my entertainment budget is tripled for this fall/winter season. I gotta dip into the savings for the Pac-Rios card and Christmas gifts. No way I buy this card. Showtime will get my monthly subscription and that's all they'll get from me.Comment

I think it'll flop by our standards, but if it does 300K plus it'll be a success by industry standards, and set the stage for bigger fights either way, for either fighter Rome mah homie. It really depends on what type of card they produce IMHO.Comment

wouldnt be surprised if showtime was already over their budget. they are putting on some high quality cards with some high quality names. this would just be another one. but i dont think its ppv worthy. may be the only way this one gets done tho.Comment

I agree Syf. But I think it'll do better than those numbers. Either way it's ballsy, but will more than likely be a success than a flop industry wise IMO.Comment
