This would have to be a pretty stacked card, cause I hope Schaefer doesn't think Maidana vs. Broner is worthy of pay per view as the lone main event

At least the fight will be entertaining, you have guys like Hopkins on PPV sometimes and his fights are mostly hugfests. This fight for example will be better than Mayweather vs Robert the Ghost in terms of entertainment value.

(Yes i know Broner and Maidana aren't PPV guys and the fight should be on regular Shotime IMO)

Golden Boy Promotions is planning to stage a Showtime Pay-Per-View event on November 9th. It's no secret that Golden Boy is trying to finalize a welterweight fight between WBA champion Adrien Broner (27-0, 22KOs) and top-rated challenger Marcos Maidana (34-3, 31KOs), for early November.

Golden Boy's CEO, Richard Schaefer, confirmed to BoxingScene that his company is indeed planning to stage a pay-per-view event on November 9, and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas has been placed on hold - but he stayed tight-lipped regarding the planned main event and other details pertaining to the show.

Maidana has an iron jaw, that bum, fkng tomato can Josesito Lopez caught him with a couple good shots and chino just waked right through them.

This one will be over by the 4th when Boner hits the canvas and does the Bambi dance like No doubt Trout did against Canela.
