Trinidad Dlh. Tito couldn't even land on Dlh. Dlh had Tito nose bleeding all over everyone ringside. He controlled the fight and coasted and they took the fight from Dlh. Disgusting.

Oscar vs Tito was a 9-3 win for Oscar.. but he didn't put as big of a beating on Trinidad as Lewis did to Holyfield. A case could be made also that Oscar lost the last 3 rounds...

That being said both should have been wins for Lewis and De La Hoya.. no questions asked.
I can tell you right now that your "question" is what used to be known as a "Morton's Fork". Look it up and improve your education.

I don't like Lewis and in a big fan of Holyfield but that fight was probably the biggest robbery in HW history and history in general.

I wasn't even happy to see Holyfield get the gift draw.
        Probably correct.

Have you seen the Holmes-Cooney scorecards? If that fight had continued to 15, it would have been a robbery of biblical proportions.

Didn't one of the judges in the dlh-trinidad fight score the 12th for Oscar even though all he did was run? :smilol:

Oscar lost the last 5 rounds. 9-12 on all 3 cards and 8-12 on 2 of 3 cards. I don't suppose that you remember the 3rd round of the Hagler-Hearns fight. I was reminded of this by the way Oscar ran, he almost lapped Trinidad in some of those rounds. He got a very heavy body blow in the 5th rd. and i believe that it affected him. You could see him protecting his body more as the rounds passed. Oscar, in case you don't know, was always known to be weak in the body. it was his major weak point. And, as Trinidad said immediately after the fight, that from the 6th rd, they changed their tactics and got close, and that won the fight...I assume he meant body.

You are mistaken in giving Oscar the first 6 rounds and this was incorrect. Watch the fight forget you're an "Oscar fan" and you'll see that although Oscar was more flashy, especially with his combinations, it was Trinidad who thrw the most meaningful punches-when they landed. It was no better for Oscar than 4-2 after 6 rds. Then he barely won the 7th, and lost all the rest in a row. It was as close as could be, with the draw given by judge Hamada, who alone scored the 8th rd for Oscar.

I scored tito-dlh a draw,,, either guy could have won it,,, Oscar gave it away down the stretch, and kinda screwed himself.....

I thought lewis was robbed vs holyfield,,,,, horrible scorecards,,,,
Lewis controlled that fight,,, holyfield actually preformed better in the rematch and lost, thats how bad holy's performance was in the 1st fight....

De Lahoya. But was a fan-friendly decision...for running rings the last 3 rounds.

They both ****** but DLH got a loss on his record compared to a draw.

The worst thing is both the fights didn't live up to expectations and had crap decisions.

Boxing had some rough years in the late 90's, 97 the bite then this crap in 99.

Lewis Holyfield was a robbery for the sake of robbery

Trinidad De La Hoya looked more like karma for how De La Hoya fought the last 3 rounds
