Yes, the good old trick of using flase accusations to put some dirt on someone that has none. Angel Garcia was convicted of child ******ation and no one brings that up. A guy convicted or raping children shouldnt work in a gym frequented by young kids.

What Angel Garcia does is, as we say in Argentina, "embarrar la cancha" (muddy the playing field), simply like that.

He was able to fight because USADA does not have the authority to prevent the fight. Anyway the purpose of the additional testing is so that the fighter has a better chance of knowing what they're getting into. USADA didn't stop the fight but if Garcia wanted too he could have pulled out of the fight and cited Morales doping as a breach of contract.

USADA does 2 things, they test the fighters and if they come up dirty, they also tell the commission whether he was guilty or not guilty of cheating. They told morales and NYSAC that he was not guilty of anything! And the guy failed 2 drug tests a week apart! The fact that they advised them that morales was not guilt of cheating and then 4 months later said he was is complete corruption. USADA has been in similar situations before when they caught people for the same drug and not only did they not allow them to participate in the event but did not even allow a second drug test and suspended the athlete immediately! Meanwhile morales was given 3 drug tests, and failed 2 and they still said he was not guilty!

It was a tough call for Melvina to cancel that card. Everything happened so late and it was the first boxing card at Barclays. While its bad that Morales was essentially allowed to fight with a positive test...I think the drawback to that was outweighed by the timing and importance of the event.
