    Wladimir Klitschko vs Aleksander Powetkin

I've senn no thread about the subject. What are your thoughts on this fight?

I see a hard night for both men. It will be interesting to see how W.K deals with the pressure against Povetkin. It will also be interesting to see how Povetkin will deal with Klitschko's storm of jabs.

Do you have some infos about their sparring partners?

Manuel Charr would be a good sparring partner for Klitschko but I doubt he will get invited due to what he said against him.

Seth Mitchell would also be the shizznit for Wlad.

Wilder would be an excellent sparring partner for Povetkin.

Povetkin's got a nice set of skills, more than he's given credit for and his power isn't bad either. His experience is as good as any non-Klitschko contender that hasn't fought a Klitschko. And he's going to fight. He's a warrior. He can be hurt but he's never been down as a pro I don't think. He can fight hard while he's hurt. He can fire combinations while he's hurt. But Wlad with Povetkin's head is still going to be like LeBron and a basketball. It's going to get really ugly in there for Povetkin. I predict his face is going to look like raw hamburger in seven or eight rounds and if he doesn't retire in the corner like Lebedev's corner should've had him do with Jones he'll be stopped like Peter was. That's my prediction anyways.

But if I'm wrong and somehow Povetkin wins I think it will be ducking under the jab and firing left hooks and overhand rights. He's faster than he looks. I think more likely Wlad will not be in a position to take the right hand as he jabs and dips to his own right and he'll be parrying the left hooks, seeing them from way back. Povetkin would have to fire those short range-which he's good at, to avoid Wlad's radar but he'd have to do it before getting tied up. I don't think he can do that. If Wlad wants you tied up you get tied up. The only interest in this to me is that Wlad's lost his HOF trainer and hasn't faced a top name since and that Povetkin fights a little different than anyone I've seen Wlad fight. And I've seen almost all Wlad's fights and definitely all the big ones. And styles make fights. So you never really know.

If the Russian enters the ring with a Tyson mindset (which he won't), he stands a chance. If he enters the ring with anything else, he will be slaughtered and disposed of rather easily.

Povetkin is better than Chagaev, but the fight will look similar.

In recent years Klitschko has been rather under-working his jab, in the old days it was like a piston ram and capable of knocking an opponent off his feet; now he mostly paws with it, the way his brother does....very tactical.

Povetkin is 2nd tier, he won't be competitive with Wlad.
