Better fighters than Khan if you ask me.
I agree with this 100%. Why would Alexander be afraid to fight Khan when he was not afraid to fight Maidana, Bradley, Brook or Matthysse? What is so scary about glass jawed Khan who just barely beat unranked Diaz with help from the English referee.Khan is very fast. Alexander is very fast too.Khan has a weak chin and Alexander has a very good chin.

Because his name is Shane Mosley. If he can still fight let him fight, he beat Cano. That wasn't a big fight, nor was it a title fight. Khan vs. Mosley would be a good fight for TV. It wouldn't be on PPV and the loser has to retire forever. Sounds good too me.

Khan-Alexander will be sorted out eventually, if the fight doesn't happen the duck will be exposed. I don't know why alexander would be "afraid" of khan. He has a world title and will probably use it as leverage for a bigger fight, if he cant get it than he will fight khan.

I can understand why devon would do this though. Yes, Khan brings money and a big name. But what has he done at 147 to get a title shot? Absolutely nothing. We could go on and on how he went life and death with Journeymen Julio Diaz. Khan is trying to find the fastest route to Mayweather.

You missed the bit about him turning up in the ring to lose as the 'paid opponent' and doing absolutely nothing!

Alvarez, Pac, Mora...absolute borefest stinkers!, this guy's past his sell by date and needs taking out of the game for the greater good of having entertaining, competitive boxing matches

Khans got a china pot chin waiting to be cracked but he will pepper and evade the snail paced Moseley all day long, plodding around the ring getting smashed in his nose

He should have retired a longtime ago

Surely there's a better fight out their for Khan

wow nearly 100 posts for a fight that is dont even nearly confirmed...is there just ANY source to this other than the word of the TS?

would like the fight though...but Khan wont get a May fight for beating Mosley and i think he knows that so Alexander would still be the better option...fightwise i would prefer Mosley- Khan all day...

Khan could always ask Schaefer to get him a fight with that other welterweight champ named Broner. I just don't know if Schaefer would put his two darlings in with each other. In a perfect boxing world Golden Boy would have a title unification fight between Broner and Alexander but of course that won't happen. It's too logical and obvious. If Khan beat Broner he would be in good shape to challenge Mayweather.

Khan has a record of 19-3 with two knockout losses. That is a journeyman's record. He was knocked out by a journeyman in the first round and never tried to avenge the loss. What I have to say about Khan is that he is a mediocre fighter who should not be fighting for a championship belt against Alexander or anyone else until he proves himself worthy of a shot at a belt at 147 or even 140 for that matter. He damn sure doesn't deserve a shot at Mayweather, especially if his only claim at the shot rests on a victory against a severely shot, should-have-retired-a-year-ago Shane Mosley. Soto-Karass deserves a shot at Alexander and Mayweather more than Khan. At least Soto-Karass beat a contender at 147.

If one were to ask me, this sounds more like a negotiation ploy by Team Khan into pressuring Team Alexander back to the bargaining table. Since both parties are interested into entering the Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Sweepstakes. A potential bout and subsequent win over Shane Mosley, which will not be an easy task for Amir Khan won't guarantee him a unification title bout with "Money" Mayweather in any case.
