If Khan wins the title against Alexander, I'm pretty sure that the IBF would grant him a optional defense and wouldn't stand in the way of a potential title unification bout with Floyd Mayweather.

IBF are usually quite strong on their mandatories though. If they were to grant an optional defense, I think it would be on the basis of unification first of all and then Brook would be guaranteed a shot at the winner, which, assuming Floyd wins probably won't happen, so he'll still end up fighting for a vacant belt which kind of sucks.

I would bank on Khan to beat both Broner, Bradley and Alexander. The belt holders are not the people Khan should be fearing.
