Can anybody see Floyd beating Canelo by a late stoppage?

I think once Canelo gasses out, Floyd will start pouring on lead right hands. Then Canelo will start bruising and swelling and the ref will step in.

too risky...unless the cheapshot presents itself, Floyd would probably be content on potshotting the gassed/drained Canelo onto a wide UD

Too big a size difference for that to happen. Canelo is solid defensively as well. I'm fully expecting a decision win for Floyd, with Mayweather's movement being key.

Unless Floyd is able to cut Canelo badly and stop him that way. Otherwise then no...

I can see Alvrarez's corner throwing in the towel between rounds 9-11 after watching Floyd use him for target practice for four or five rounds.

I agree with the first part(if the unless was omitted) but this is boxing, a well timed perfectly timed shot where canelo does not see it or jumps in to it can cause a ko. Hell this fight can end on a headbutt in the first round. Anything can happen.

People have a utopian vision when thinking of Floyd and their imagination gets the better of them sometimes. Statistics don't lie, and Floyd don't knock people out, simple as that.

For Floyd to just win, would be a major success for Floyd, even with the CW. Winning is where its at.
