How comes May & Canelo done there tour weeks ago? Before they went in training camp?

That's May and Canelo. Those are two big names, and when the fight was announced, the world was excited. Casual fans don't know Matthysse or Garcia.

come on man-its not danny's fault. Lucas doesn't want to go and prefers to train its on him.

The problem is certain posters (jfsd26, EPT just 2 examples) would never extend the same type of reasoned, patient logic if it was danny. it would be duck, scared, etc. etc., with no thought behind it.

i don't blame lucas, y put your self though that drama, garcia camp nonsense with biggest fight of your career ... they have no prior history not foes or friends... the only drama should be the ring to see whos best and I think lucas will prevail 140 champion.

That's every big fight. Press tours dont happen in the middle of training camp. Did Danny v Zab have a tour 5 weeks before their fight?

Lucas v Danny took longer than expected to schedule, that's why they have to squeeze in the tour.

fight got signed late in part because there was no east coast venue available for a fight of this magnitude. SO it got put on the my/canelo card but GBP was gonna giv it a press tour because other than may/canelo its the most anticipated fight of 2013. Its like you are implying GBP is setting him up or doing this to give dnny an advantage, com on.

If lucas agreed to do it than he should do it. Period.

I Lucas refuses to train I'm good with that decision. The problem for me and others is the way you and other posters are taking the time to think about valid reasons and post them-because if the situation was reversed the same standards and thought processes wouldn't exist.

Fan of neither man but the facts are the facts...Danny had ample time to pick his details...his last fight was when? Most of these details would've been set in stone already after all he is not the challenger in this case so his way goes and he still found a way to want more than that...there is the problem. Would you risk the biggest fight of your career over a tour when you wanted to do the tour ages ago and the champion didn't?
