People are funny acting like Lucas doesn't know what's best for himself. Listen had this fight been signed on back in May we wouldn't be having this issue. Schaeffer alluded that Danny wanted more money to take this fight....well now this is the price has to pay for it. If Lucas lived in Florida I would understand the outrage but he lives half a world away.

He won't be in the running to get a fight with Floyd acting like this. You do the press tour, go to a local gym and get your training in, go to another city, go to a local gym and get your training in. That's how it goes. They are scared of Angel Sr's ugly face. I can understand that, but wtf would he cancel the press tour? Because he doesn't want Sr in his head? What a pu$$y.

what you said is reasonable but posters are reatcing to the mild reaction from Lucas fans. Had danny done "what is best for him" Lucas fans surely wouldn't be so understanding.

Missing it is what happened when Floyd didn't show up in Houston or whatever it was for Canelo. Missing it means GB spent money on the tour and half of it was wasted cause one guy didn't show up to help promote.

Missing it is what Gamboa did for the Rios press tour.

Like I said in the other post, the only damage done was to Matthysse himself cause he had a chance to make himself more known.

Matthysse shouldn't be ignoring the promotional side of the fight, he needs to get his name out there sui he gets his shot against Cherrypicker
