The P4P rating was silly for Guerrero, even though I guess you could somewhat justify it with his success at the lighter weights. As for him bein rated #3 in the division, I had no issue with it. He beat Berto when Berto was touted. And at the time, JMM and Bradley really weren't considered welterweights. So after Floyd and Pac, Guerrero was just s qualified as anyone else.

BTW, I don't really understand Brook currently at #3 either.

I think Martinez is just about done now. Too many injuries and too many fights and its all caught up with him. He is probably looking to cash out in his next few fights and take advantage of the money making opportunities that have started to come his way. I cant see him taking another dangerous fight unless its for silly money and he wont go anywhere near Golovkin. I think he is hoping for a Mayweather fight to come off before he retires.

Sounds like a chicken sht statement to me! Lmbo cmon fighters not being the same after martinez fights them! Lmbo cintron was a joke pavlik was Executed the rest either were tooo small or actually gave martinez something to think about! I have yet to see martinez take on a fast strong fighter like GGG or Stevens! Pavlik was flatfooted and slow amd was beating martinez till the horrendous cut and terrible job trying to stop it.! Point is Ggg and possibly Stevens beats martinez! btw GGG is and has become more of an Ppv fighter than martinez!

Berto was unranked, cause he was out a year+ with PED suspension. And as we keep seeing over and over, it's not like he's automatic top 10 when active.

This is not a lie. This is not made up. All you need to do is dig around for their quotes and you will find them.

Same with Stevens people, Kathy Duva, she does not want to put her guy in with GGG. This is known already. K2 has been trying. None of them want to see their fighters get pummeled. Yes that is how they see their guy ending up if they fight GGG.
Universally means everone....not everyone is on the ggg bandwagon,u dnt get the number one ranking by beating proska, ishida, rosado or Macklin dude,he gotts to beat quillon to get that spot, and if he does so then il admit he is number 1 contender...quillon needs ggg as much as ggg needs him

I believe he is so vulnerable right now, that any of the top 5 would beat him if they fought him. Martinez is like Roy Jones, in that he depends on reflexes and athletics to apply his game. Now with father time catching up with him, and a body breaking down around him, he is essentially done.

Martin Murray is not a special fighter. He is a durable, solid and dependable fighter. Nothing about him stands out though. He still had Martinez wavering at the brink. Not a good sign at all.

You check out anyone who ranks the sport as a whole (not the orgs) and you will find GGG as the number 1 contender. All the noise you see in here about GGG is not contained in this site. It is everywhere. You know he cannot get his hands on Quillin. Hell Quillin even dismissed fighting GGG. Quillin is off fighting on some side show right now anyway.

I would equate the Berto that Guerrero fought to the Peterson that Matthysse fought. Very similar situations. So if everyone is annointing Matthysse the greatest thing since sliced bread based mostly on the Peterson KO. Me thinks Ghost should het a lil respect for the Berto win.

You're right his resume is really thin to be calling him #1 contender, however when #3-10 are refusing to prove their case in the ring, he gets there by default. That's how it is in other sports, you can forfeit. Quillin keeps passing, even now that he's with Showtime and could blame that instead:

Ok so with the fighters ggg has beaten you think he is the number 1 contender without fighting quillon?
