I dont think anyone is making stevens out to be great, but he is actually a MW looking to fight GGG. SO now GGG doesn't have to ask for floyd and not mention Ward anymore. He can just ask they make the Stevens fight. HBO wont say no.

I think it would be a fun fight while it lasted but I think GGG is good enough and smart enough to switch things up and out-box Stevens if he cannot out slug him and knock him out

Thats what they said about Adonis Stevenson before he leveled Dawson and other countless fighters who were supposedly in over their heads in big fights. Power is the great equalizer. I would not be shocked if Stevens levels anyone with that kind of power and I doubt there is one person that would bet their house or car on GGG winning. Easy to pick GGG and list all the reasons why he would win but nothing in Boxing is certain except major upsets each year.

You should know by now that facts don't matter on this site. Stevens would probably be the best fighter that Golovkin has faced in his career. That is why he won't fight him and will continue to fight easy touches. Even if he wanted to fight Stevens, HBO wouldn't allow it. They will not allow Stevens to ruin their dreams for Golovkin the way Rigondeaux ruined their plans for Donaire.

STEVENS turned down 300k to fight GGG on HBO. What were you saying ?
