Why do people talk about gennady like power is all he has? You don't accomplish what he did as an amateur without being able to box, he is a very smart fighter. Stevens is a crude slugger that throws looping shots, GGG has tight technique and great ring smarts. He also hits twice as hard as anyone in or around his division.

He's a good puncher but I don't think he hits twice as hard as anyone. Curtis Stevens could very well be a bigger puncher if we're talking about one punch KO power.

2013 Fans of GGG want him to KO Mayweather, But the fans are scared to put GGG in with a big puncher so they discredit Stevens who clearly beats Macklin Like they Discredit Kid Chocolate who also clearly beats Macklin.

GGG has power like a light heavyweight, despite being a small middleweight. Nobody in or around his division punches like him. He doesn't throw reckless power shots, he boxes his way in, but he has that much power that when he lands he destroys.

I think GGG will knock him out with no problem and he won't get hurt doing it if the fight comes off. GGG had hundreds of amatuer fights so at least a few of the guys he fought must have hit hard.

I've heard people claim he hits more like a CW weight and a small HW. There are so many stories about this dude that turns into myths just like that about his punching power and everything else he does in the ring. He's a good puncher but I'm not so sure he hits like a LHW/CW or whatever. He's a really good boxer though with great timing and is very accurate when it comes to his power punches but at the end of the day most people exaggerating his punching power.

That people was a Knock OUT!!! Curtis ICED that dude! He can **** no doubt about it. Will he be competitive vs Golovkin? No. GGG is infinitely better in every department and probably even has the power edge. Different class of fighter altogether. At least Stevens has the stones to fight him and with his style it should make for a great fight (if a short one!), Golovkin hasn't really proven his chin yet, though it looks rock solid so far, so it will be interesting to see how it holds up vs Stevens.....Then again didnt we say the same thing before he fought Macklin, who btw is a far better fighter than Curtis!?

Stevens has a punchers chance regardless, he's Orthodox fighter that has 1 Punch Power in his left hook. GGG could loose and thats what make the fight interesting.
