This fight needs to break records so boxing can start gaining more interest and endorsements.

i'm guessing between 1.5-2 million. if i had to guess i'd say 1.75 or less is most likely.

the massive ppv events of the past (tyson - holyfield, de la hoya - mayweather,) didn't' have to compete with streaming sites. i know a lot of hardcore fans do not buy ppv fights.

I think it does 1.75-2 million. Keep in mind that HBO is still counting PPV buys from DLH/Floyd and that just broke 2.5 million. 2.5 million is going to be TOUGH to smash through. The only fight that had a chance of smashing through 2.5 million was Floyd/Pac because both were 1 million+ PPV sellers with almost every fight. We don't know Canelo's PPV worth yet because he had yet to headline his own PPV. The PPV price might hurt it as well.

Honestly, I doubt it does more than the Pac/Mosley Showtime PPV (1.3 million)

especially now that Time Warner dumped Showtime in 29 states across America, that's gonna affect the numbers BIG TIME.

1.6-1.7 mil is my guess. It won't make it anywhere near the record, lets be real here people.

If anyone wants to bet points that it even surpasses 2 mil I'd be down.

The fight won't break the record because of the times. 3 of the co-main event and main event fighters are still relatively unknown. This fight will do big numbers, but at $70.00, I doubt the ppv hits 2.4 mil. If it did over 2 mil, I'd be surprised.

This fight won't break the record. I'll be surprised if it does 2M tbh.
