    double knockout

    Hello,
the fight you are thinking about was between Paul Samuels and Cello Renda. Both men landed simultaneous left hooks and hit the floor together. The ref counted both men and they each beat the count. Samuels went on to win by stoppage. You can find the fight on youtube it is well worth watching

Would be crazy if both scored several knockdowns each and the bout gets ruled a draw.

Would be more entertaining if Renda wore white face paint and a big red nose.

Simultaneous left hooks, Matthysse stays down. Simultaneous right crosses, Garcia sleeps. Simultaneous left hook, right cross...huge mess in the ring.

a right cross from a right hander and a left hook from a right handed opponent are going in the same direction, doe. you hook your way into a hook. if the right hand doesn't come early you're moving away from it when you throw your own hook. ideally, the right hand wants to land inside of the hook. that's where you see the knockouts. i'm not sure if i've ever seen both land at the time time with enough force to hurt anybody. guys trade hooks all the time, compared to how infrequently they trade a hook for a cross from an orthodox opponent.

you're probably just making jokes, and i've wasted my time with a breakdown,

i do it mostly for my own edification.

Surely if both fighters got knocked out by each other at the same time the fight would be scored as a draw?
