    Hypothetically - both fighters floored

This is just a fun question I thought I'd throw out there. Let's say Garcia and Matthysse start trading hooks and although very unlikely both have their right hands down. Both land clean left hooks at the same time and go down, kind of like Matthysse-Peterson, both connected with hooks but Matthysse was the one who comitted to the hook more (also known as don't hook with a hooker). How will the referee act if both stay on the canvas? Would the action just continue when they get their senses back? Will they both be given a count?

Again not really a realistic scenario as one of them probably would land faster and more cleanly than the other.

ref starts counting, and if neither can beat the count the fight is a NC i believe.

If they both knock each other out while throwing hooks simultaneously and neither get up before the 10 count I believe its a no contest, but dont quote me on that. This happend before watch bundrage vs ouma they didnt KO each other though just knocked each other down with hooks at the same time. The odds of this happening though has to be in the billions has it ever even happend before in the history of boxing?

I have some vague memory of this happening in some UK middleweight fight a few years ago between two journeymen. I don't remember their names. Anybody knows what I'm talking about?

it happened in mma, and they both went out. i still have a hard time believing that this actually happened, but this does look real. the fight was waved off, and i'm not sure what the record books would show.

A midget referee descends from the ceiling and completes the 10 count for one of a the fighters while the current ring ref completes the 10 count for the second downed fighters, if both fail to make the count the midget and ref fight to the death.

pretty simple answer really, the ref counts, neither man gets up? fight stopped.

It's a fun scenario though and both men have power, both can hook and both seem to have decent chins. I'd like to see Matthysse box a bit because he can definitely get in there and outbox Garcia although I'm still picking Danny to win
