If anyone here would've stated "Marquez is going to walk into the ring looking like Lou Ferrigno" two years ago they would've been run off to the roars of laughter. I think there is a huge level of naiveness and looking the other way involved here with both pacquaio and lots of fans (not just his own). Listen I like to believe this sport is fair for the most part but it's not and Marquez's own biggest media supporter (Grantland) has even expressed it's su****ions of his "transformation". Pacquaio may have lost fair and square but simply because of that it should not void the fact many including his haters were like "WTF" when they saw Marquez's physique. I respect Marquez for what he's done in the sport and his contributions to the sport but to remotely think he magically just transformed himself at 40 is absolutely naive and frankly you can't knock anyone who wants to demand whatever testing they want to ensure he's clean. Tim is the champion and Marquez is the challenger, Marquez wants testing done by a group of people who his "strength" coach has worked with but won't take testing from another body his coach has no association with. I personally think this fight will not happen if Tim is smart, I don't like Conte but he's made some very valid points about Heredia and USADA. Usada has had some extremely questionable moments in boxing the last few years (Peterson,Morales,Quillin). Either way I don't hate Marquez but I do think Bradley is doing the right thing for himself and his well being by demanding a neutral testing platform. I personally do think Marquez had/has everything to gain at this point of his career..this is the retirement money run. I also think Pacquaio just woke up to the reality of juicing and is now a supporter a testing because of it but won't admit to it publicly. We can say what we want about Ariza but unlike Heredia and Conte he's not been involved in advising either agency on procedural testing. Just my humble opinion.

What the hell are you talking about? If there's someone su****ious about using PED's is Pacman, why he's afraid about olympic's test? He had his oportunity in the 3rd and 4th fights, and he said no thx, so why are you crying here?

Actually I disagree, if you really look at the bradley vs marquez situation you can tell Arum is adamant about not being involved in ped testing at all which is why he even paid to hand off the responsibility. So if we want to look at the entire situation we can pretty much see Arum advising pacquaio that they would be wasting money by testing, I think now he's more insistent because he wanted testing and then let it go but bradley got arum to approve testing. There is nothing remotely awe inducing about pacquaio's physique, the only thing that raised su****ions was his k.o. ratio for a few years in a row but most of that can be chalked up to his choice of opponents.

only thing that raised questions about pacquiao were his excuses towards mayweathers proposal on testing

I'm not sure if this has been posted already, but here's a link to the original Spanish article and accompanying video that this boxingscene article is based on:

They go over some of the same points several times in the video, so here's a basic summary:

Marquez is adamant about his willingness to submit to testing anytime and anywhere because he wants to prove that he's clean. According to him, the Nevada commission insisted on their involvement and has authority when it comes to taking the samples. He stated that if Bradley doesn't trust them to do the actual testing, the samples can be taken to VADA, USADA, WADA or any other lab. He says it's all the same protocol and he doesn't know if Bradley doesn't understand, looking for an excuse to pull out, or playing mind games. He closes by stating that he's willing to submit to Olympic style testing without a problem. He wants to prove that he's clean and isn't afraid of testing much less mental games if Bradley chooses to play them.

Maybe someone can provide a more detailed translation, but that's the gist of it anyway.

Pac is using USADA not VADA for Rios. a simple google will pull that up.
