Boris Grinberg, manager of heavyweight contender Magomed Abdusalamov (18-0, 18KOs), says his boxer is ready and willing to travel over to London to fight Dereck Chisora (17-4, 11KOs) on September 12th at Copper Box. Chisora is already booked for the September card, being promoted by Frank Warren, but the British fighter has yet to secure an opponent. Magomed, now trained by John David Jackson, has already fought twice in 2013 and closed both of the fights with knockouts.

Mago is rated #4 in the WBC while Chisora isn't top 10 in any ABC. Would be a good and smart fight for both guys especially Derek getting a high rated guy to travel to the UK for a fight on a months notice. Slugger vs swarmer poor mans Foreman vs Frazier.

He isn't. Mago started his career like that at 260lbs but has been 225lbs for the last couple years and is in good shape. Byarm took Jennings 10 rounds in a competitive fight.

his defense is his face... But he has good power. I remember he god kd against McCall I think and he knocked him out the next round.
